Lisa is the Executive Director for TREKK and based in the central administrative office in the Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. She is responsible for managing Network operations.
Prior to TREKK Lisa worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK for eight years, most recently as a cardiovascular research nurse within a non-cardiac chest pain project. She was also a project manager/communications lead with its Diabetes Modernisation Initiative and Improving Patient Information project.
Lisa completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree with distinction at the University of Manitoba and a Master’s in Arts in Journalism from the University of Westminster.
Kathy joined the TREKK team in April 2016 as Central Coordinator for various TREKK activities, including budget control and administrative support. She comes to us with over seventeen years of experience at the University of Manitoba with the Transport Institute at the I.H. Asper School of Business, where she was responsible for managing the operations of the Institute. Her work there included budget oversight, conference organization, and managing all facets of the Institute’s education program.
Erin is the Communications Coordinator for TREKK and the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health. She is based in the central administrative office in the Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba as well as the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health administration office.
Erin graduated from Red River College with a diploma in Creative Communications, majoring in Public Relations. Prior to joining the TREKK and the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health team, Erin worked with several organizations including, but not limited to, Ronald McDonald House Charities® Manitoba and the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association.
Trish is filling in for Carly Leggett as the Knowledge Broker for TREKK and the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI).
Prior to joining TREKK, Trish worked as Research Coordinator in the Knowledge Translation platform at CHI. Trish has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg, and a Master of Science in Physiology and Pathophysiology from the University of Manitoba, with a focus on cardiovascular cellular biology and molecular genetics.
Carly is currently away on maternity leave and will return in the Spring of 2018.
Greg Van de Mosselaer MD CCFP (firstname.lastname@example.org) is the lead programmer for TREKK.ca. He is responsible for the website design, graphics manipulation, backup, application programming, hack testing and database design. He works closely with a diverse group of carefully selected industry based IT professionals to deliver a product that is privacy compliant, Canadian hosted, locally developed and controlled as a "public good".
Greg came to TREKK.ca from ManitobaCPD.com which was sponsored by the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Manitoba. Since joining the TREKK team he has gone on to launch CHIMB.ca for the George and Fay Yee Centre for Health Care Innovation. He also is the lead programmer for the CanadianUveitisSociety.com and colaborates with an increasing number of Medical clients across Canada, all in the public sector.
His main conviction is that "Information is a medical device" and views his work in knowledge translation using IT tools as a natural complement to his medical practice and his intention to help patients acheive better outcomes.
