April 15 2014: Dr. Samina Ali, Assistant Dean (professionalism) and Associate Professor (Departments of Pediatric and Emergency Medicine) at the University of Alberta, was interviewed by the Globe and Mail on her research into the treatment and assessment of pain in children. Dr. Ali  "recommends efforts such as staff education and access to current pediatric policies and guidelines – all options the hospitals reported being interested in exploring" and refers to TREKK's work in this area.
