The Pediatric Pain Letter, a publication by the Special Interest Group on Pain in Childhood, wrote a review of the pediatric chronic pain tools hosted in our parent section. The resources were created in a collaboration between Evidence in Child Health to Enhance Outcomes (ECHO), the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, and the Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI) and are currently available in three formats: audiobook, videobook, and e-book.
Read a quick quote from the review below, and find the full review here.
"The booklet acts a guide to the initial steps of accessing care for children and families living with chronic pain, capturing a reader’s attention by evoking the feelings, thoughts, and experiences faced by many families with a child who has chronic pain. Overall, the writers, researchers, and illustrators of One family’s story have created a great foundational jumping off point for children and parents on their chronic pain journey."
