As the national voice of emergency medicine (EM), CAEP provides continuing medical education, advocates on behalf of emergency physicians and their patients, supports research and strengthens the EM community. In co-operation with other specialties and committees, CAEP also plays a vital role in the development of national standards and clinical guidelines.
CAEP's Atlantic Canadian team is working hard to develop a cutting-edge program for the CAEP by the Ocean meeting taking place May 26-29, 2019. CAEP aims to highlight areas of excellence in the Atlantic provinces, while focusing on exciting new and emerging science in the field of emergency care. Various formats will be employed to enhance knowledge translation into practice which will provide an interesting and engaging event.
