Three of our bottom line recommendations have been updated recently. Check out our website for the latest versions of asthma, croup, and diabetic ketoacidosis.

In addition, our acute otitis media bottom line recommendations are now available in French. 

New Board of Directors Member

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Stephen Freedman as the newest member of our Board of Directors. Dr. Freedman is a member of the Sections of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Alberta and in 2016 he assumed the role of Chair, Pediatric Emergency Research Canada.

We would also like to thank Dr. Amy Plint for dedicating her time, expertise and enthusiasm to our Board of Directors over the past four years and wish her well in the future. 


Croup video

Attention all parents - we have a new resource available for you on! Watch our video about croup to learn about symptoms, ways to manage croup at home and when to seek medical attention. Please feel free to share the video with colleagues and parents.

Holiday Break

The TREKK Administrative Centre will be closed during the holiday break. We will be closed on Friday, December 23 and re-open on Tuesday, January 3. We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday, as well as a wonderful new year!
